Millarville house league is a recreational league, with a focus on having fun, player development and sportsmanship, rather than intense competition.

The season schedule will be available when the players have signed up and the teams are assigned; the season usually starts in late-April.  Weather permitting; we will begin practices outside on the diamonds.  If the weather isn't cooperating, we hold these practices indoors at Oilfields arena.  The regular season runs the last week of April through the end of June.  We'll pack a lot of baseball into this short season, with two games a week and one practice on Saturdays.  Games start at either 6:00 or 6:30 PM and no inning will start after 8:15 PM.  Practices will be Saturday morning, unless a team has specific time constraints, then we'll work another time on the weekend.

The season consists of games played against teams from rural communities in the Foothills, including Davisburg, High River, Nanton and Black Diamond.  Teams will travel to all these communities once or twice during the season.  Millarville home diamonds are located at Seaman Sports Park on Hwy 549 (located 800m east of Hwy 22).

Fees are $100 per player, except 9U $75 and Teeball $45.

Equipment requirements:  Glove, personal helmet, protective cup (older divisions), bat (if you have one though MSA has several).

Team uniforms are provided with $75 deposit (held until uniform returned in good condition).

We encourage family involvement and rely heavily on parents to coach, umpire, rake, set-up, bring snacks and generally support the players and coaches.
