Millarville Hall Rink Upgrades Complete!

In partnership with the Municipal District of Foothills No. 31, the Millarville Sports Association was recently the proud recipient of a $75,000 grant from the Daryl K. Seaman Canadian Hockey Fund at the Calgary Foundation in support of our outdoor rink upgrade project. The project scope included relocating the player boxes to the east side of the rink in order to accommodate expanded players benches and incorporate penalty and scorekeeper boxes.
We are grateful for the support from Calgary Foundation and Daryl K. Seaman Canadian Hockey Fund that supports all aspects of amateur ice hockey in Canada.

In a cost sharing arrangement with the Municipal District of Foothills No. 31, the Millarville Sports Association also completed the construction of a new viewing deck at Rancher’s Hall. With the relocation of the players boxes, spectators will now have a full, unobstructed view of the ice from the new deck.
